CB-097-2025 AN ACT CONCERNING ANIMAL CONTROL for the purpose of revising and adding certain definitions; increasing certain civil penalties; expanding the leash law; expanding the type of dangerous animals; providing for a certain provocation; requiring a certain special permit and fee; providing for a certain licensing fee; providing for a certain licensing penalty; lifting a certain ban; providing for a certain grandfather provision; providing for certain pet parenting or animal handling courses; providing for a pilot program to foster and adopt a certain specific dog breed under specific circumstances; providing for certain timeframes for permits and agreements and registration; providing for certain fines; providing for certain facilities to refer a certain specific dog breed to serve in a certain pilot program to be service animals; providing for certain spaying and neutering of a certain dog breed; providing for a certain re-lettering; and generally regarding animal control in the County.
